Hi, welcome to my store. I'm excited about where this business venture will take me. I've always wanted to start a business and finally, this is an industry that really gets me excited.

A little bit about me, I live on the Gold Coast and have been here since I was 7 years old. I originally got into 3D printing in 2017 when I was still attending university. I thought this tech would be insane for automotive applications, and being into old Japanese cars, this was perfect to rebuild my crusty car interiors. 

Back then, 3D printing had a solid 50/50 success rate and the finish was nowhere near what you would want as a final piece. Nowadays, this space has advanced so much that anybody can get into printing. The only 2 factors are what machine you are using and what filament are you printing with.

This is where I wanted to step in. I have 0 knowledge about how to design a 3D printer, but have a deep understanding of material sciences so I wanted to produce my own brand of Filament. At Zextrude, I offer premium filaments at a fraction of the cost of what anyone is charging. Margins are low and my goal is very focused on being Australia's number 1 filament supplier. 

Multiple product samples were ordered and revised until finally, I had a product I could be proud to sell. All of the filament offered here is at the same level if not even better than anything I have ever used before. I am a fan of Bambu Lab and Siddament filaments and have printed well over 2000 hours worth combined. However, I have not ever needed to use any other filament since producing Zextrude. 

I hope others can enjoy Zextrude Filament and continue to grow the 3D printing tech space.
